South of Lake Tahoe in Hope Valley runs the Carson River. Sparkling and splashing as we sat painting. Oops! It's a little funny that the paint has some authentic Hope Valley dirt stuck to it. The real life of an artist, trying to catch it as it flips upside down...that part was removed after the paint dried!
